Hello there!   ReligionStats is a simple site with a simple goal: inform the world of American religious growth (and decline) in real time.   Growth rates used are checked regularly (see methods on our FAQ page).   Please remember that religious statistics are widely debated. For instance, should we count all those on the records of a church/organization or should we count only those who, when asked, say that they are a member? We believe the latter is the most appropriate.

Coming soon to the site: Group spreads allowing users to see the real time change in population gaps between two affiliations (Here's a hint, the non-believers are winning).   Are we missing a religion you would like to see?   Shoot us an email!
